The arrival of the Christmas season was heralded in East Norwich on Sunday, Dec. 3. The annual Tree Lighting ceremony was presented by the Committee for the Beautification of East Norwich (CBEN). This is the first year that a group of committee members helped put the lights on the three trees. In previous years Matthew Meng, East Norwich Civic Association president performed the task himself. Beekman Beach was well used on Saturday, Nov. 11, as the Sagamore Rowing Association held their Frostbire Regatta. The parking fields on the Jakobson Dock and at Beekman Beach itself were packed. FULL STORY

The Rough Rider third grade boys' team got off to an early lead against Manhasset and never looked back. With goals from Logan Danenza, Ryan Reynolds and Max Greenspan, the Riders went on to a 9 to 4 victory. Manhasset was constantly on the defensive with solid play by Robert Howes, Anthony Naranjo, Vinnie DeMartino, Sean Cronin, Dan Cutler and Ryan Santos.
