Taking place from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., this comprehensive event will provide caregivers managing the health and well being of today’s seniors with a one-stop-forum for gathering vital information, products and services to help support senior care, wellness and quality of life.

A fun, interactive class is coming up at HANC of Plainview for children turning 2 by December 31. Miscarriage Support Group

A safe, confidential, supportive environment in which to talk about what you have been through, your reactions and feelings, and how to move forward. You are not alone! Facilitated by a professional therapist. Meetings held on three consecutive Tuesday evenings at 8 p.m. in the Hicksville-Plainview area. $60 for three meetings. Free Veterinary Lectures

Once a month through December, Long Island Cat Fanciers sponsors free lectures given by top local veterinarians on topics relevant to dog and cat owners. All members of the public are welcome to attend.
