Adeline McBee, age 88, of Port Washington, died on Sept. 23, 2001.Adeline was the wife of the late Joseph Fred McBee. She is survived by her children Joseph, Martha, Dennis and Harry. She is also survived by her sister,Florence DeMeo, her brother, Arthur DiMeo, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, Sept. 27 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter of Alcantara Church. The interment followed at Nassau Knolls Cemetery. Mary Gennaro, age 87, of Port Washington, died on September 30, 2001. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Gennaro. She is survived by her son Salvatore, her daughter-in-law Lee, her grandchildren Linda, Greg and Reness, and her great-grandchildren Joseph, Michael, Melinda and Christopher. Ersilia Mele, 97, of Port Washington, passed away in Roslyn Heights on Oct. 13, 2001. She was the beloved wife of Angelo and loving mother of Guiseppe, Gennaro, Nicola and Palma DeMeo. Ersilia was the cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Angelo and Ersilia would have celebrated their 79th wedding anniversary on Dec. 23.
