Daniel R. Perrone, of Port Washington, died on Dec. 19, 2002. Son of Claire. Father of Hayla. Brother of Stephen and Lorraine. Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Funeral Chapel, Manhasset. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's RC Church. Josephine Harrison, a resident of Port Washington for many years, died in St. Francis Hospital on Dec. 21, 2002, after a battle with cancer. She was 66. Ms. Harrison, a former flight attendant for Capital and United Airlines after the merger. She was also a dedicated environmentalist and a true and loyal friend of animals. Many stray dogs and cats which otherwise might not have found homes, owed their lives to Ms. Harrison, who worked tirelessly on their behalf. During her lifetime, she enjoyed the admiration of her contemporaries for her animal rescue work, an admiration that was justified. Although Josephine Harrison is no longer of this world, she will not be forgotten. She is survived by her brother, Alexander Harrison of NYC and a sister, Linda Harrison of Los Angeles, CA. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington.
