He is not only a board of directors officer for PYA, he is also the man responsible for creating such exciting seasons for parents and players in PYA Basketball. His name is Tom McNamara and for the past several years, Tom has been commissioner of boys basketball for his son Sean's grade. What this means is that at the beginning of each season, Tom assesses and groups together league players, creating teams of about 10 players each. What's remarkable about this is that he truly creates a level and equitable playing field, thereby making PYA basketball closely competitive and exciting to watch. Those of us who know Tom, realize that he is deeply involved in other organizations as well. His devotion to basketball, the community and, above all, fair play, enhances the lives of our kids.

Many thanks, Tom, and don't forget to take a trophy for yourself!
