A memorial service and kiddush will be held this Saturday, June 14, 2003 at Chabad of Port Washington, 80 Shore Rd., for Moe Jaffe. The service begins at 9:30 a.m. The kiddush will follow at 12:30 p.m. All family and friends are welcome. Monika Mangiarano, of Great Neck and Port Washington, died on May 23, 2003. Sister to Christa (Dieter) Nagel of Roslyn, Doris (Hubert) Gurski of Germany and sister-in-law to Arnoldo and Lee Mangiarano of Great Neck. Aunt and great-aunt to Nicole (Eric) Kaylee Waage, Denise Nagel, Roberto (Heather) Luca and Marina Mangiarano. Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Funeral Chapel. Mass at St. Aloysius RC Church. Carmine Gaudiuso, 72, of Port Washington, died on June 6, 2003. Carmine is survived by his wife Carmela; his children, Angela Goodwin, Elena Parrino (Jerry) and John Gaudiuso (Christine); and his grandchildren, Daniel Goodwin, Marina Goodwin, Briana Parrino, Danielle Parrino and Andrew Gaudiuso. He is also survived by his mother Angelina Gaudiuso and his siblings, Michelina Pepe, Concetta Delli Gatti, Angelo Gaudiuso, Ralph Gaudiuso and Anne Marie Hayes. Carmine was predeceased by his father Nicola Gaudiuso. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law, both here and in Italy. Carmine emigrated to Port Washington from Nusco, Italy in 1966, where he and his brother-in-law Joseph Delli Gatti founded Joseph and Carmine Landscape Contractors. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on June 10 at St. Peter of Alcantara RC Church.
