Neuilly Sur Seine would like to thank the residents of Port Washington for their support of our establishment in the wake of France's misguided and disgraceful opposition to Operation Iraqi Freedom. In reading the letters to the editor of Port Washington News and in speaking with our customers, it became evident how truly blessed we are to be located in a town whose citizenry exemplifies the greatest strengths of American democracy. By taking the time to voice their opinions to aid a neighbor in need, Port Washington showed its true character - one that is comprised of a dedicated sense of courage and compassion.
In particular, we would like to thank Major Anthony Cavallaro and his family for his June 19, 2003 letter to the editor. The fact that Major Cavallaro would sacrifice the time from defending our country from his post in Arifijan, Kuwait to help a local business demonstrates how truly fortunate we are to have men and women like him in our armed forces. Please know, Major Cavallaro, that a complimentary bottle of our finest champagne awaits your safe arrival home. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all the other American servicemen and women deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Thank you very much to you and all of Port Washington for your support. God Bless America!

President, Neuilly Sur Seine
