Josephine E. Masarik (nee Hovanec), of Port Washington, died on Oct. 7, 2003. Josephine was predeceased by her husband Martin. She is survived by her son Martin Jr. (Ruth); her daughter Linda Cole (Geoffrey); and her granddaughter Bethann. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Barry C. Johnson, 55, formerly of Port Washington, died on Oct. 7, 2003. Husband of Claudine. Father of Julia, Lauren, Christopher, Kelly and Barry Jr. Grandfather of four. Son of Earl and Jean. Brother of Dennis, Linda and Nancy. Uncle of several nieces and nephews.
