Louise Badenberger, 98, wife of the late Henry, passed away Nov. 2, 2006. Until her mid-nineties she was still an avid reader and an active member of St. Stephen's Church quilting group, craft group and thrift shop staff. She will be remembered by many as the tiny lady that walked from New Salem to the library of St. Stephen's and back every day. Very rarely did she accept an offer for a ride. She is survived by her daughter, Eleanor Rybecky; grandsons, Christopher, Philip, Richard, Stephen and Paul; and 13 great-grandchildren.
