To help you file for or learn more about the property tax exemptions you may be eligible for, Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano, in cooperation with Legislator Wayne Wink, has arranged to bring Department of Assessment office operations to the Port Washington Public Library on Wednesday, July 31 from 1 to 3 p.m. Equipped with specially configured computers linked to the county’s database, Department of Assessment staff will process property tax exemption applications (Veterans, Senior Citizen, Cold War Veterans, Volunteer Firefighters and Ambulance Workers, Limited Income Disability, and Home Improvement) on-site. Persian musician Kamy R will take the stage at 8 p.m. at North Hempstead Beach Park, 175 West Shore Road, to perform his top hits. At a young age, Kamy R realized his passion for singing, mainly inspired by R&B, Soul, and Funk. His debut album “DOBAREH” was released worldwide in November of 2010 and broke the traditional barriers of conventional Persian pop.
