Fall Fair

At St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free admission. There will be a children’s carnival, crafts, baked goods, trash and treasure and more.

Vincent Smith School Special Education/College Fair

The Vincent Smith School will host its Seventh Annual Special Education/College Fair from noon until 3 p.m. at 322 Port Washington Blvd., Port Washington. The fair provides one-stop access to special education service providers. Meet representatives and obtain information from parent support groups, recreation, social skills groups, service providers, legal and advocacy services, financial planners, remedial services, hospital providers, transition services, post high school/college programs, etc. Free and open to the public. Former Mets pitcher and current Emmy-award winning Mets commentator talks about the mindset of a major league pitcher, as examined in his acclaimed book The Complete Game: Reflections on Baseball, Pitching, and Life on the Mound. Co-author and Port Washington resident, Daniel Paisner, joins Darling on-stage to moderate the discussion. 7 p.m. at Landmark on Main Street.
