College News: June 21, 2013

Gabrielle Brilliant graduated with a degree in Philosophy from Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado on May 20. Gabrielle is the daughter of Marc and Susan Brilliant of Port Washington.

Owen L. Caruso has been named to the Dean’s List at Western New England in Springfield, Massachusetts for the spring semester of 2013. Caruso is majoring in Finance. Students are named to the Dean’s List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.

Colin M. Davies has been recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, the National Leadership and Honors Organization at George Washington University. Sigma Alpha Lambda is dedicated to promoting and rewarding academic achievement and providing members with opportunities for community service, personal development, and lifelong professional fulfillment.

Drew Friedman was named to the 2013 spring semester Dean’s List at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania.  The Dean’s List requires students to achieve a 3.60 semester grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

Kyle Lewis and Christopher Solomita earned Dean’s List honors for the spring 2013 semester at SUNY Oneonta.  To qualify for the Dean’s List, undergraduate students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 semester hours or more.

Erin Sperling has been named to the dean’s list at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, for the spring 2013 semester.  To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than a C.

Celeste Tallarico, a resident of Port Washington, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Arts and Sciences of Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut on May 19, 2013.

Rosara Torrisi received a master of education degree in human sexuality education from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania on May 18.

Alyssa Usoskin graduated cum laude from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania and earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology on May 25.  She was also named to the Dean’s List for the 2013 spring semester.
