Team #4 vs. Team #6-Both teams playing their best game of the year on March 14. They both fought a great battle to the game's end whistle, team #6 defeating #4, 25-21. Team #6 led from the beginning, with Danny Zuffante (10 pts.).
Each member of team #6 played their hearts out. Matthew Covigaro (6 pts.); Brandon Heller (4 pts.); Jordan Weiss (2 pts.); Robert Paul (2 pts.); and Michael Grinfeld (1 pt.). Finally, Ben Parizat and Sam Amin showed great hustle and determination.
Team #4, led by Ronnie Combs, never gave up! The team played with such heart, it was something they should be very proud of. Other members of the team were Sam Neill, Elias Bahou, Rusty Drexsler, Willie Dillard, Nick Antonatos, Jesse Goodman, Josh Apfel and Andrew Siskind.
Team #1, 37 vs. Team #3, 25-For team #3, David Burros had two baskets, one free throw, three rebounds, three blocks (5 pts.); Eric Winder had two rebounds; Jonathan Schwartz had two baskets and one free throw (5 pts.); Omar Hussian had two baskets and two free throws (6 pts.); David Ettinger had three baskets, three rebounds and three free throws (11 pts.). Jake Kimmelman had a cast on, but kept his team motivated. Finally, Jeremy Allen showed great hustle.
Team #1-Evan Diamond with seven baskets, two free throws, one block and five rebounds (16 pts.); David Streisand had two baskets, two blocks, three rebounds (4 pts.); Alfredo Vasques had great hustle. Alex Bender had two blocks and four rebounds; David Gorski had three baskets, one free throw, one block and seven rebounds (7 pts.); Brandon Friedland had one basket at buzzer, one block, seven rebounds (2 pts.). Finally, Brian Kim had four baskets and four rebounds (8 pts.). Michael Sloyer and Michael Kaplan kept stats for team #1.
