Arts and Crafts Street Fair Sept. 26
On Sunday, September 26, the Village of Roslyn will host its annual Arts and Crafts fall Street Fair. The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. along Old Northern Boulevard. The event is sponsored by the village and the Roslyn Chamber of Commerce.

No Change in Fire Services
At its regular meeting last Wednesday night, the Roslyn Harbor Board of Trustees voted to keep the Roslyn Fire District---which consists of both Roslyn Rescue and Roslyn Highlands---as its fire company for the village. Citing both overall costs and the proximity of the fire companies to the village, Roslyn Harbor officials had considered transferring its fire service portfolio from the two Roslyn companies to units in Glenwood.

Klein Stars for Binghamton
Julie Klein of Roslyn, a senior at Binghamton University, will lead that school's women's tennis team into the fall '99 season. Last year, Binghamton won the NECC title, with Ms. Klein playing a major role in the successful season.
