When the Unity Party of East Hills met recently to nominate two members, it received news that Deputy Mayor Lawrence Krasnoff, who was up for re-election this year, had announced his retirement from the East Hills Board of Trustees. FULL STORY

Last Sunday, the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn Harbor unveiled their new exhibit celebrating that historic era. "Revolutionary War: Founding the New Nation" will be on display until March 26.
