It was revealed at the last Village of Roslyn meeting that the Roslyn Rescue Fire Company has purchased a new building. The building is located on 155 Mineola Avenue in Roslyn Heights and was bought at a cost of $925,000. FULL STORY

So far, the plan by Forest City Daly, the Manhattan-based firm, to build senior housing development in Roslyn has gone smoothly. Late last year, for instance, it received approval from the Planning Board, the Board of Trustees and the Site Review Board. The final round of the Golden Gloves preliminaries has, once again, been awarded to the Glen Cove Boxing Club, according to club President Lou Fugazy.
