Park Bond Vote Set for March 5
Currently, the biggest news concerning the park is that the village will hold a vote on a $25 million bond act, scheduled for Tuesday, March 5. Prior to the vote, the village plans to hold public hearings on the matter. In fact, the village is holding regular meetings on park plans in general, including slide shows illustrating how certain areas of the park will look. Gerry Exhibit at Bryant Library
Last month, the Bryant Library hosted an exhibit by George Gach, the Hungarian-born sculpture who, for many years, was a resident of Roslyn. This month, the library will house an exhibit by Peggy Gerry, one of the village's more prominent citizens from the past five decades.
