The WABC-TV Eyewitness Seven news team---and indeed, much of the television community in New York---was stunned by the death of Flower Hill resident Glenn Steinfast, who died suddenly of heart attack on Aug. 22, 2002. He was 45.

Roslyn Youth Wins Boxing Title
The Roslyn area has not been home to a boxing champion, at least not in recent years. But it has one now. Drew Musumeci, a resident of Roslyn Heights, and a 13-year-old eighth-grader at St. Mary's in Manhasset, recently won the North East Region Junior Olympic Heavyweight title. The tournament was held earlier this year in Lake Placid. There, Mr. Musumeci handily defeated his opponent from Niagara County to win the crown.
