Judith Wilner, a Roslyn resident for 16 years and a candidate for the Board of Education, has seen her children go through all levels of education in the Roslyn School District system. Two of her children have graduated from Roslyn High School, while two others, are in the district's grade school and middle school.

There have been several well-attended Roslyn District School Board meetings since the embezzlement scandal was made public. Last Wednesday night, over 100 local residents traveled to the Roslyn High School auditorium to witness the first debate among the school board candidates who will be vying for two seats on the board in the May 18 election.
