The JCC Jayhawks, a third grade entrant playing 'up' in the fourth grade division of the Island Garden Basketball Super League defeated the fourth grade Herrick's Raiders 40-8 in a game played Tuesday night. Coached by David Rothman, Jeff Gould, and Stu Dinetz, the team looked to rebound off of a double overtime loss last week and from the opening tip the team's focus and energy was apparent to everyone in the arena.
