Landmark Society Meeting Jan. 26
On Jan. 26 the Roslyn Landmark Society's guest speaker will be Mimi Sherman. Ms. Sherman received her BA from New York University in music, art and French and MA from the Fashion Institute in museum studies, costume and textiles. She was the curator of Merchant's House Museum from 1991 to 1999. She has lectured on various venues, on costume, historic lighting and textile storage and conservation. She has also published extensively. Her most recent piece is The Central Draft Burner: Ami Argand's Contribution to the American Home.

Seniors Receive Phys Ed Honors
Roslyn High School seniors Arielle Seidner and Jonathan Kessler were honored by the Nassau Zone of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NYS AHPERD) as the "Outstanding Physical Education Students" of the Class of 2005.
