Roslyn Little League needs student umpires for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and weekends. The season begins April 2 and lasts until mid-June.

All candidates, whether experienced or not, must register by March 20. All candidates must attend one of two training sessions this year regardless of whether they have attended a training session in the past. The session has been substantially revamped.

In addition, all candidates must be at least 13 years old by July 31, 2005. Pay is $25 minimum per game.

Forms are available at www.RoslynLittleLeague.org and should be brought to one of the training sessions conducted by the American Federation of Umpires at the East Hills School on Saturday, March 12, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. or Sunday, March 20, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
