I want to commend the board for stating that they will be making attempts to recoup any funds misappropriated by the former board members and employees.

Mr. William Costigan, Mrs. Pat Schissel and Ms. Maryanne Combs have shown their last act of arrogance and disregard for the truth by voting to retain Ms. Schissel as a member of the board after she failed to fulfill her attendance obligation as prescribed by law.

Before the statute of limitations runs out regarding any attempt to recoup the funds, I would like to make the following suggestion.

The board should appoint a treasurer to calculate what each current and former board member misappropriated, including all funds used for personal use. After the figure is arrived at, offer them one month's amnesty to reimburse the Roslyn School District. If they do not comply, then immediately proceed criminally and civilly.

Has the board taken any action against the accounting firm that allowed this mess to continue for so long?

Is the board considering taking any action against the law firm who advised the then sitting board that they did not have to report criminal acts to the district attorney?
