On Dec. 1, 2004, the Budget Advisory Committee ("BAC") was formed to take on the charge of reviewing and assisting the Roslyn Board of Education in the budget process for the May '06 school year. The committee represents a diverse cross section of the community.

At an open forum meeting on April 21, the BAC voted by a significant majority to support the budget.

An informal meeting to discuss the proposed budget will be held on Thursday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Roslyn Middle School auditorium. BAC members urge the public to attend.
