  • Sports: Chiefs Overwhelm Long Beach 39-18

    On Sunday, Oct. 9, the Mineola Chiefs 8-year-old team played on the road again and this time they beat the Long Beach Bulldogs 39-18. The victory brings their winning record to 5-0. The Chiefs' offense was able to move the ball all day long and scored on every offensive series because of powerful blocking by the offensive line of Teddy Capsis, Gavin Dowd, Michael Delio, Kyle Facibene and the leadership of quarterback Thomas O'Connell.
