This past Sunday the Mineola PAL 8-year-old Chiefs played at home and this time they beat the Bellmore Braves 40-26. The victory brings their undefeated record to 7-0-1. The Chiefs' offense was able to move the ball all day long and score on every offensive series because of sound blocking by the offensive line of Gavin Dowd, Teddy Capsis, Matthew Lafay, Michael Delio, Kyle Facibene and the leadership of quarterback Thomas O'Connell.

The Chiefs scored on their first offensive play of the game when quarterback O'Connell threw a 35-yard pass to Andrew Cunningham for a crowd-roaring touchdown. Then O'Connell passed the ball into the corner of the end zone to Michael Patalano for the extra point. The Chiefs took the lead and never looked back. From there on in there was just too much offense to write about, so all the scoring is summarized below:

Every 8-year-old played and had fun as they participated in the victory.
