College of the Holy Cross (MA) coach Wayne Mazzoni will be leading a program titled, "The Athletic Recruiting and Scholarship Seminar" at North Shore High School on Wednesday, Nov. 30. The program is to start at 7 p.m. and will be held in the library.
Mazzoni is the author of The Athletic Recruiting and Scholarship Guide and is considered the leading expert on the topic of recruiting in the northeast. To date he has spoken at over 200 high schools and has appeared on WFAN, Fox, ABC, News 12 and many other media outlets. "The program that Mazzoni teaches is probably the most important information a high school athlete and his or her parents can have," stated John Lovendowsi, athletic director at the Princeton Day School.
The seminar covers how to find the right school, how to determine the right athletic level, how to get the attention of college coaches, NCAA rules, admissions, scholarships and much more. Mazzoni's books and other resources will be on reduced price sale for those in attendance. The fee for the seminar has been paid by the school and thus is free to attendees.
