Each fall, the Wendy's High School Heisman program recognizes the nation's most esteemed high school men and women for excellence in academics, athletics and citizenship.

Principals, teachers, guidance counselors and athletic directors from all over the country are able to nominate a senior for the award, one that they believe embodies exceptional drive, character and commitment.

This year, Roslyn High School nominated Jeremy Grant.

Approximately 15,000 students were nominated nationwide and Jeremy was named one of the 10 finalists for New York State.

On Thursday evening, Nov. 17, the Northeast Regional Awards Dinner was held at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA, the home of the New England Patriots to acknowledge and honor Jeremy and all of the other winners.
