Candidates Named For Village Election
With overwhelming support of its members, the Roslyn Clock Tower Party has announced that longtime Roslyn residents and community leaders Marc Magid, Michael Dorsky, and John Santos will be its candidates for the March 20 election. Marc Magid has been chosen as candidate for mayor. Mike Dorsky and John Santos are the Clock Tower Party candidates for the positions of village trustee.

RHS Auditorium Inaugurated With Music
The Roslyn High School auditorium was officially reopened on Jan. 16 and 17 as the high school hosted its winter concerts, the first events held in the newly renovated facility.

Sid Jacobson JCC Sports News
Join the JCC Sunday NBA Basketball League. The emphasis is on skill development, team play, sportsmanship and fun. Parents coach the team and can make a request at registration. Each child can be on a team with one other friend. Our sports staff provides 30-minutes skills and drills session for each team and then referees the game. Every child receives a team jersey. The league is still forming. The fee is $260 for non-members and $190 for members.

Frydman Runs Self Defense Program
Howard Frydman rose up to defeat the odds to become a Maccabee Karate Champion at the 1981 Maccabiah games in Israel. Now he runs the Karate self-defense program at the Sid Jacobson JCC.
