Grace Ann Catapano, of Greenvale, died on Feb. 12, 2008. Wife of the late John. Mother of Donald, Philip (Kathleen) and John (Ruth) Catapano. Grandmother of Donnie, Danielle, Lisa, Matthew, Kathleen Catapano and great-grandmother of Mackenzie and Kyra Hennessy and Peppin Thomas. Sister of Mary Bonasia. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church. Interment St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village. Thomas P. Contino, 82, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Roslyn Heights, passed away peacefully Feb. 19, 2008. Thomas was a loving husband and father and is survived by his wife, Josephine of 61 years; daughters, Rosemarie, Phyllis, Patty, son-in-law Dominic; loving grandfather of Jennifer and Amanda; brothers, Paul and Anthony, sister-in-law Virginia and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Mary, Roseanna and Charles. Thomas was a communications officer in the U.S. Navy stationed in Attu, Alaska. Memorial services will be held Friday, March 7 at the Veterans National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Rd. 7, Lake Worth, FL at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
