On Wednesday, April 22, the Roslyn Landmark Society will hold its April Membership meeting. A lecture, "The Last Days of Shea" will be presented by Professor Dana Brand.
The meeting will take place at Sterling Glen of Roslyn, 100 Landing Road. Cash bar at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. - members $20 - nonmembers $25, Program at 8 p.m. Reservations for dinner required. Call Society office at 625-4363.
The lecture is free and open to the general public.
Dana Brand is Professor of English and American Literature at Hofstra University. He is the author of Met Fan and co-director of the up- and-coming conference at Hofstra in 2011, "50 Years Of The New York Mets." He is currently in the process of a book, The Last Days of Shea.
