Creative Writing Workshop

Popular teen and “tween” author Lisa Greenwald will be visiting the Gold Coast Public Library on Aug. 8 at 6:30 p.m.  Greenwald will read from her latest novel My Summer of Pink & Green while discussing her path to publication and the writing process.  A writing workshop will follow. Greenwald is the author of four books for tweens and teens.  She works at the Birch Wathen Lenox School Library on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and is a recent graduate from The New School’s MFA program in writing for children.  She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and young daughter.  Copies of her books will be available for signing.  This program is for students in grades 5-12.  Registration is required and you may do so by calling the Reference Desk at 516-759-8300 or by emailing Ashley at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
