The Royal Crown Players of Roslyn High School will be presenting the Pulitzer Prize-award winning musical A Chorus Line from March 7 through March 9 at the Roslyn High School auditorium. The Broadway hopefuls offer glimpses into their lives while waiting to find out if they’re about to get their chance to shine. Among the Broadway hopefuls are Cassie (Gina Casali), who has an unexpected connection with the director; Mike (Scott Feiner), who’s been tapping since he was kid; Bobby (Jonny Goldberg), Sheila (Melissa Goldstein), Judy (Emilia Bunich) and Maggie (Nicole Sweet), who are dealing with painful pasts; Val (Rachel Curtis), Bebe (Lindsay Wolfson) and Connie (Casey Landman), who struggle with the industry’s pursuit of youth and beauty; and a group of guys and gals trying to make their mark including vocally challenged Kristine (Elizabeth Berger), street-wise actor (Justin Tepper), innocent Mark (Ben Steinberg), insecure Greg (Adam Heitner), easy going Al (Trevor Cox) and enthusiastic Richie (Daveen Rim). Diana, who has a feisty personality, is portrayed by Erica Plaener and Josh Goldenberg portrays Paul, a confused, talented singer and dancer. Alanna Schaffer plays Lara, Zach’s assistant.
A Chorus Line will be performed on Thursday, March 7 at 3:30 p.m.; Friday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m.
