The Nassau County police are investigating the robbery Feb. 17 of a TD Bank branch in Roslyn Heights.
According to detectives, a white man entered the bank at 111 Mineola Ave. and passed a demand note to the teller. The teller gave an undetermined amount of cash to the robber who then fled on foot out the front door towards the rear of the bank, detectives said. The subject, detectives said, is described as 5’10” tall, of medium build, between 40 to 50 years old, and was wearting a green hooded jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and boots. There were four employees and one customer in the bank at the time of the robbery, detectives said. No injuries were reported.
