Friday, 04 November 2011 00:00My colleague Elizabeth Kase is running for Nassau County Court Judge this election day, Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Liz and I have known each other for years. She is highly regarded in the legal community for her expertise and pragmatism. Liz is originally from Great Neck and now lives in Port Washington with her husband and three children: Ben, Sam, and Lucy. She has learned to balance her family with her legal career.
Elizabeth Kase began her career in the Manhattan DA’s office, where she served under District Attorney Robert Morgenthau. She was a member of the sex crimes unit, domestic violence unit and handled white-collar crimes. In 2003, she joined the Garden City law firm of Kase and Druker and became a partner there in 2004. She is a respected member of the Long Island legal community. She is also the Village Justice of Port Washington. Ms. Kase was found “well-qualified” by the Nassau County Bar Association (its highest rating) and a jurist who will “serve with distinction.”
Elizabeth Kase is honest, smart and dedicated, tough, disciplined and fair. Please tell your friends in Nassau County, your family members, and your colleagues. Nassau County will be lucky if Elizabeth Kase is elected to the Nassau County Court bench this Election Day.
