If you are regular user of the Roslyn High School track, you will have noticed that construction fences have been put up near the entrance to the track and the turf field. These fences are there to create a secure area as a major reconstruction project on the field house will begin shortly. The track and field will remain open throughout the construction period, though for reasons of safety there will be no access through the parking area on the north side of the field house structure. Use the main gateway to reach the track and field.
The new field house is slated to be ready for use by the start of the fall 2013 athletic season. This reconstruction project is a private-public partnership, underwritten by a combination of New York State grant funds, private donations through the Roslyn Bulldog Booster Club, and capital funds of the Roslyn Public Schools.
