The recent Emmy awards included a winner from Roslyn. Steven Passaro, a Roslyn High School graduate from the Class of 2006 took the coveted award for his role as an associate producer for MLB Tonight.
Passaro received a national sports Emmy as the program won the prize in the Outstanding Show – Daily category.
Passaro is also a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Telecommunications.
MLB Tonight airs on the MLB (Major League Baseball) network. Passaro, since graduation, has worked as both an associate director and producer for various cable and broadcast networks. And with the Emmy, his budding career takes another giant step forward.
