Long Island May Madness Olympics

Adults, children and teens all participated in May Madness sponsored by Charles Water Karate & Fitness, located at 122 Hillside Avenue in Williston Park. This month’s challenge had seven goals that were to be completed May 30.

The seven goals were 3,000 pushups, 5,000 kicks, 1,000 jumps and our ground kicks, 2,000 belly burners, 2,000 jumping jacks. The students over 7 years old at Charles Water Karate & Fitness had a goal of two classes a week and Karatatot students (ages 4 ½ - 6) one class a week, 10 random acts of kindness.

Trophies were given to those who completed all seven goals the month of May. Medals were given to everyone who gave 110 percent; they achieved their goals.

Everyone is a winner, they were determined and goal oriented. The trophy and medal winners achieved their goals.
