Honorary Luncheon to Shed Light on Resident's Work

Mitchell Bloomberg of Jericho will be honored by State of Israel Bonds' Electrical Industries Division at its annual luncheon on Tuesday, December 16 at noon at the St. Regis in Manhattan.

Bloomberg is vice president of Lightolier, a subsidiary of Genlyte, and president of the Lighting Group, the sales organization that designs and distributes the company's lighting products. Bloomberg heads a team effort that has designed lighting for Trump International Hotel & Tower, Morgan Stanley and the Foley Square Office Building.

The event will also honor Albert Samilenko of Huntington, president and owner of Fred Geller Electrical, Inc., and Joseph R. Bechtold, recording secretary and business representative of Local No. 3 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Ehud Ya'ari, head of Israel Television's Middle East Department, will be guest speaker at the event.
