Former Pastor Honored at Syosset Church

On Reformation Sunday, October 26, Faith Lutheran Church in Syosset celebrated the Rite of Recognition of Pastor Emeritus upon Reverend Henry Brau, who had served the congregation for 19 years, from 1972 to 1991. At the same service, eight young people received their first Holy Communion. An elegant reception-tea attended by many old friends followed the service.

The Reverend Brau and his wife Caroline are presently residing in their country home in New Preston, Connecticut, and are enjoying their hobbies of gardening and traveling between his supply-pastor assignments in the Connecticut areas.
