The Oakwood Princeton Park Civic Association's annual picnic was held on Saturday, Sept. 12. The weather was fantastic and the children and adults all enjoyed the festivities. The kids enjoyed the moon bounce and the DJ. It was great to see the fire truck brought by the Jericho Fire Department. We all enjoyed the food and the home baked cakes and cookies. Many thanks to all those who baked.
This is our opportunity to thank all the hard workers as well as the local merchants who so generously donated to our picnic and our raffle. A lot of hard work went into planning our picnic by Marissa Lorintz, and Andrew Pfau, who served as co-chairs. They coordinated the workers, raffle gatherers and the events. There is truly a great deal of time and energy which goes into making this event so successful and enjoyable.
The following families contributed a family member or two who volunteered their time by barbecuing, collecting donations, face painting or manning the ticket table. Thank you all for your help and dedication. The Pfau family, the Gilet family, the Cacciola family, the Lanz family, the Freudenthal family, the Pi family, the Moskovic family, the Fried family, the LePrine family, the Voigt family, the Doron family, the Rosenbaum family, the Hass family, the Simon family, the Menduni family, the Caruso family, the Salerno family, the Grieg family and the Lorintz family.
