Running uncontested in the Tuesday, May 18 district election, Jericho Joint PTSA Council Vice President Barbara Krieger will fill the vacancy left by outgoing School Board President Flora Greenberg. Also returning without opposition is incumbent Robert Goldsmith.

Registration for the 1999 Syosset Braves Youth Football league will take place at Syosset High School on Tuesday, May 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, May 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. Children ages 5 to 12 are eligible.

Jericho Jayhawks Travel Soccer
Tryouts for the fall roster of the Jericho Jayhawks 6th Grade Girls Travel Soccer team will take place at Robert Williams Elementary School on Saturday, May 15 at 2:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 22 at 4:30 p.m. Plan to come to both tryouts. Children should arrive on time, and must wear cleats and shin guards. Also, bring a soccer ball and a drink.
