On Sept. 28, the White Birch/Old Jericho Civic Association held its board meeting. As previously mentioned, Rich Lasko resigned as president. Again, we would like to express our appreciation for his dedication to our community.

The first and most important item on the agenda was to appoint a new president. Frank Antun, a concerned member of our community, was willing to undertake this position. The board unanimously appointed Frank and looks forward to working with him.

Our next general meeting will be held on Monday, Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. at the Robert Williams School. We will be introducing our new president, Mr. Antun, and will be addressing any issue that may be of concern to the community.

We encourage all members to attend. We also encourage those who are not presently members to join us and meet the board and members of your own community.
