Susan Witte, 60, of Wantagh, died on Nov. 9, 1999. Born in NYC she earned her master's degree at C.W. Post Campus of LIU. She earned her doctorate in gifted education at Columbia University. She was a teacher in the Hauppauge School District and then in the Syosset School District. Wife of Robert. Mother of Christine Fraley-Witte, Robert P., Paul H. and Jonathan L. Grandmother of three. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. Doris W. Mauney, of Syosset, died on Nov. 18, 1999. Wife of the late Ernest. Mother of C. Glenn and Jeanne Mauney Chambers. Grandmother of Christopher, Matthew and Andrew Mauney and Kimberly Chambers. Sister of Ormi Lee Queen and the late Ottie "Pat" Crosby. Arrangements were made by the Beney Funeral Home, Syosset.
