F. Audrey Ryan, 78, of Woodbury, died on Dec. 6, 1999. She was raised in Woodside, Queens and received her bachelor's degree from NYU and her master's from Columbia University. She began working at Long Beach Senior High School as a physical education teacher. Later she and her husband opened Crest Travel in Seaford. She retired in 1989. Wife of James H. Mother of Susan Lim, Barbara A. Coneys, James H. Jr., George A. and John H. Grandmother of six. Great-grandmother of 16. Mass at St. Hugh of Lincoln RC Church. She was cremated. Gaetano Acerra, 65, of Woodbury and Bayville, died suddenly on Dec. 12, 1999. Husband of Connie. Father of Carmela Posillico (Robert), John (Carla) and Anthony (Sandra). Grandfather of Deanna, John and Samantha. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Brigid's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
