The Jericho Lacrosse Club will be holding its final registration before the spring season starts. The registration will take place at George Jackson School, Monday, March 6, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. The cost for children in grades k - 2 is $75 for a clinic. The cost for children in grades 3 - 6 is $125 (plus a helmet deposit of $25 if needed).
This is the sixth year of the Jericho Lacrosse Club. In our brief time we have been able to supply some good lacrosse players to the Jericho Middle and High School programs. Jericho High School will have a more improved team because of the dedication the students have taken over the winter going to clinics hosted by high school coaches.
The Jericho Lacrosse Club would like to welcome back all the middle and high school coaches, who have taken the players of the Jericho Lacrosse Club who, played for us over the last five years and developed them into better players. A special welcome to Coach Mutz, the Jericho High School's new junior varsity coach. Coach Mutz brings to Jericho years of experience in lacrosse. Last year he led South Side Varsity lacrosse to the Nassau County Quarterfinals.
Lacrosse is still one of the best ways for your child to get a scholarship to college. An ex-player of the Jericho Lacrosse Club is now in the process of getting a scholarship to a Top Division Three School for lacrosse. This could be your child one day.
If you are interested in having your child experience the excitement of the fastest game on two feet, come down and talk to us Monday, March 6. Or contact us at Jericholaxclub@aol.com.
