It is that time again football fans! The new board of directors of Syosset Youth Football would like to invite you to join another great year of Braves football. Syosset Youth Football is a member of the Nassau/Suffolk Football League. Registration for the upcoming 2000 football season will be held at Syosset High School (South Woods Road) in the main high school gym on Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. - noon; on Tuesday, May 9 from 7 - 9 p.m.; on Monday, May 15 from 7 - 9 p.m.; on Wednesday, May 24 from 7 - 9 p.m.; on Friday, June 9 from 7 - 9 p.m.; on Thursday, June 15 from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Saturday, June 24 from 10 a.m. - noon. The league is for children between the ages of five and 14. The teams are assembled based on age and weight. We have 5-6 year old teams, 7-8 year teams, 9-10 year old teams, 11-12 year old teams and a 13-14 year old team. The season runs from the middle of September 2000 through the end of November 2000. Football practices begin on Aug. 1. The registration fees are $125 for one child, $225 for two children and $275 for three or more children. All necessary equipment (including game jersey) will be provided as part of the registration fee. You do not need to be a resident of Syosset to join our team. Everybody is welcome!
