Defending champion Bruce Fleisher won the 2000 Lightpath Long Island Classic last weekend for the second consecutive year after finishing the tournament, which was held at the Meadow Brook Club in Jericho, 18 below par. Fleisher beat out second place finisher Dana Quigley by two strokes. Allen Doyle finished third with a score of 15 under par.
