The Jericho Lacrosse Club is following up its tremendous spring season with a comprehensive three-season program. This fall, a clinic will be held for age groups from second to sixth grades. The fifth/sixth-grade team will probably have the opportunity to play some games scheduled around the busy soccer and football programs.

In the winter, starting in December, Jericho will be sponsoring a fifth/sixth-grade team in the Indoor Lacrosse League to play in the indoor field stadium at Farmingdale University. There are only a few openings left for this team and only players from the fall program will be considered. Creating this three-season development program will only help in improving an already successful winning program.

The third/fourth-grade team had a record of seven wins and one loss during the regular spring season and many of the players are now moving up to the fifth/sixth-grade squad.

Players from any of the adjoining communities will be accepted regardless of experience and all players on the Jericho team receive a lot of playing time due to the small team sizes. Applications are available at email www.11753.com, or by calling Frank Sammartano at 681-4371 or Buddy Anscher at 921-8216.
