I am writing to thank all of you who voted to re-elect me to my fourth term as your State Senator. It has been my honor to serve you over the past five years and I greatly appreciate your continued support.

In this very difficult campaign season, I am pleased to say that I was able to run a clean and honest campaign. I ran on my record and stayed focused on the issues important to residents of the Fifth Senatorial District. I had faith that my constituents would not fall prey to all of the negativity that was out there.

I look forward to serving as your representative for the upcoming two years. I will continue to work hard to improve our schools, clean up our environment, make health care more affordable and keep taxes down.
